The Song of Mongo

You stood there, transformed, not just in appearance but in essence. The power to transmute the essence of things, to touch the core of what they were and guide them towards goodness, now lay in the palms of your hands, an extension of your will.

"The sorcerer demanded a sacrifice," Mongo replied, his eyes reflecting a sorrow as deep as the roots of the forest. "Not of blood or treasure, but of memory and joy. He claimed that for the sun to shine upon their feast, the tribe must surrender all their happiest memories to him.

Mongo's influence reached far and wide, becoming a source of inspiration for mortals and immortals alike, a reminder that in the dance of life, joy could be found in every step.

From that moment onward, Mongo became the deity of dance and joyfulness, his presence spreading happiness throughout the celestial realms.

Mongo emerged as a vibrant being of pure energy, his form adorned with swirling patterns that mirrored the intricate dance of the cosmos. His eyes sparkled with the light of a thousand stars, and his laughter echoed like the sweetest music.

I said, "This is Mongo.
You must live.
You must not eat."

In honor of Mongo, the gods bestowed upon him a sacred realm known as Rhythmos, a celestial dance floor where beings from all corners of the universe could come together to revel in the joy of existence.

From that moment onward, Mongo became the deity of dance and joyfulness, his presence spreading happiness throughout the celestial realms.

"But Mongo wasn't the owl; it was God." After that we started going out and I found out who the owl was. "You will live happily now", said the owl.

Mongo understood me and went into a magical state. He wanted to return to the sky but his burden was heavy, so he flew down to me. "Look into my eyes and go."

Is Mongo a deity? It depends on how you define "god". Perhaps, in the universe as described by Greek and Latin mythology, Mongo was indeed a god.

'This is what happened', Mongo told King Snake. 'A very long time ago, there was a tribe of great apes. The name of the chief was Anganga, and the chief wanted to give a great party to all his people. He built great bonfires, and everything was ready for the great feast. But the sun did not come out.'

'And if I should not be capable of doing this, I would even, if I should make myself evident, but, since I am able to speak, I am not ashamed to do it in your interests; for to you I give thanks, that you have in your hands what may in future be very profitable to yourselves, although I myself am not free from the curse of this present world.'

We are everything. Nothing enters our being without us. We need nothing from anything. It is always as if nothing is there; as if the stars, which are so very close, have no existence.

Come, and you will find wealth and virtue. You will say: 'I cannot find any of these; so what then?' You will find no one here to say 'I have them.' For you, alone, you have them all. You will have them all and no one else will have them. Whoever you may be, come, seek me with your eyes; For I have found them for you.

If you summon him, Mongo will come. His coming will be celebrated with dancing and blowing a horn. He will then sing a hymn, saying: 'That is the drum of Apsu, The spirit of Fortune. In her colors I blend.'

Love is just another form of attachment. It is the vision of one who is growing from every right place.

He's just as big as this small teapot, he thought, he might just fit inside. But, actually, it wouldn't. He was tiny. And, let's be honest, it was still really big.

Koska sinä olet meistä vanhin, niin sinä olet Kulho!
